The Spectacular Spider-Man: Cover Redraw

A test piece I drew for a Discord server I joined that is specifically focused on the 2008 release of The Spectacular Spider-Man: Animated Series.

The project is still in very early planning stages, but has been a great deal of fun to work with, and I joined after hearing about them from a fellow art friend of mine. This test piece was to show that I was able to draw in the show style, which was required for being able to work on cover pieces and other productions from the project, and I had a great deal of fun researching and developing my understanding of the SSM:AS art style.

I can't recall now what cover it was that I was asked to redraw, but it was a dramatic shift from a much more realistic and classic comic book style to the sharp stylization of SSM:AS. An incredible challenge, to say the least, which took me roughly twelve hours to reach completion.
Still, a great stretch of my skills and fun on top of it all.
