Self Portrait 2019

Slightly edited traditional piece of the self portrait I drew on the inside of my most recent sketchbook.

I find this to be a really great representation of what I would call my personal art style and shows examples of what I most enjoy drawing- Active poses, simple but fun cartoon expressions, vibrant colors and often white backgrounds since I rarely get good ideas for what to put as back drops in my more personal works.

Drawn in my one and only Moleskine sketchbook with ColErase Prismacolor pencil to sketch, inked with my Tombow Fudonoske calligraphy pen and Marabu Fineliner Graphix. Color was mostly a combination of Spectrum Noir Illustrator alcohol markers and more colored pencils, with touch ups done in white gel pen.
